Kiersten is a stage manager and multidisciplinary student at SUNY New Paltz, majoring in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Design and Technology and English with a concentration in Creative Writing expected to graduate in May 2026. They also are a carpenter and electrician for the department and love to try new things and areas of theater!
As a stage manager, Kiersten strives to facilitate the art of collaboration through organization, communication and leading the room with confidence. Kiersten is also passionate about having empathy and creating a safe and welcoming room and environment for all to thrive.
Outside of the theater, Kiersten is a writer, primarily of plays and poems, interested in the absurd and exploring interpersonal and familial relationships. They also love music and movies and sharing recommendations of their favorite bands and films with others!
Currently, Kiersten is scenic designing the play The Courage to Right a Women’s Wrongs and production managing the play Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England both at SUNY New Paltz.
During her final semester at SUNY New Paltz in the spring, Kiersten will be production stage managing Legally Blonde and production managing The Inseparables.
