Kiersten is a New York stage manager and multidisciplinary theater technician with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Design and Technology and English with a concentration in Creative Writing from SUNY New Paltz.
As a stage manager, Kiersten strives to facilitate the art of collaboration through organization, communication and leading the room with confidence. They are passionate about having empathy and creating a safe and welcoming room and environment for all to thrive. Kiersten also loves teaching and learning from fellow stage managers, and you can also catch her nerding out about new paperwork templates or recording blocking techniques.
Alongside stage management, Kiersten is an experienced production manager, carpenter, scenic painter and electrician and is always eager to try new things and areas of theater!
Outside of the theater, Kiersten is a writer, primarily of plays and poems, interested in the absurd and exploring interpersonal and familial relationships. They also love music and movies and sharing recommendations of their favorite bands and films with others!
Recently during her final semester at SUNY New Paltz in the spring, Kiersten production stage managed the musical Legally Blonde and production managed the play The Inseparables.
